This page contains the Terms and Conditions governing your use of the www.illo.me Web Site and its services. Please read this page carefully. By submitting the order form or sending payment the client agrees to accept the following terms and conditions.

All prices are quoted in USD. No hidden charges.
Payment must be made using a valid credit card using Payoneer or Moneybookers. If you prefer to use another method of payment, email us for details.
Full payment must be verified before design work is undertaken.
When payment has been verified the client will be sent a confirmation email. This will normally occur within two business days.
After the initial order confirmation, the designer will contact the client to discuss the design ideas he or she has in mind. This marks the start of the project. If the designer is overload with other projects, a future start date will be provided.
Concepts and Revisions
All interaction occurs over the Internet.
The client will receive the complete drawing inside 14 days after the start of the project, unless multiple modifications prolonge it. I will send you the illustration for a review a couple of times during the process, during which the client can ask for modification. After receiving the complete drawing, the client can still request for modifications of color palette, line adjustments and similar smaller items change.
Custom illustration/ Mascot
Everything from payment to project start and estimated completion will be determined over email after placing the order and discussing the illustration.
Generally the designer does not formally limit the number of modifications. The client and the designer work together by communicating the desired changes until they finally get it right based on the common sense of all parties involved. However, if the designer originally agreed upon creating a “bicycle” and then, all of a sudden, the client wants a “motorbike” — we may apply a mutually agreed additional payment for such cases. This rarely happens, and can be avoided if the client communicates his expectations and wishes clearly.
The final product is delivered in a zip file containing the character in accompanying file formats, a Read Me PDF file and Terms of Usage PDF file. This zip is delivered to the client’s email, or provided as a download link.
Source file formats:
The illustration format depends on the style of the illustration and the client’s needs. If the preferred format is Adobe Photoshop (PSD) file, the source file will be a PSD with layers and effects intact. Also provided are accompanying PNG images, transparent ones for use, and preview ones.
If the preferred format is Adobe Illustrator (Ai) file, the source file will be an AI with layers and vectors intact. Also provided are accompanying PNG images, transparent ones for use, and preview ones, as well as a PDF vector file.
Ownership / copyright
On completion of the design process, the ownership and copyright of the final work and stationery is automatically transferred to the client.
Unapproved draft designs shall remain the copyright of Illo.me
Illo.me keep the rights to put approved designs and stationery on Illo.me website and online galleries for example.
Illo.me guarantees to create your character or your money back.
There is a $35 administration fee for all refunds.
Refunds can only be issued for orders paid by credit card or debit card.
Refunds can be provided only under the following conditions:
1) The client has changed his/her mind about ordering a character with Illo.me before the designer has started working on it.
2) The designer has failed to deliver the first draft of the character one month after the mark of the project start date, without letting the client know why.
3) The client hasn’t heard from Illo.me for two weeks since placing an order.
